- Sounds silly, but make sure the power is on and the wall socket is not faulty.
- If you’re using a multi-power board, make sure the circuit breaker hasn’t shorted.
- Check the charger and charging cable for damage. If the wire is damaged, it will need to be replaced.
- Also make sure the battery is connected properly inside the speaker. This applies if you have one of the replaceable battery models.
- You can possibly reset the speaker depending on the model you have.
If you’re still having a problem getting your ECOXGEAR speaker to charge, contact their customer service for help. When a speaker is faulty and is still under warranty, you find it will most likely be replaced. If the speaker is outside warranty, you may still be able to have ECOXGEAR repair it. Depending on the age of your speaker, it may be more cost-effective to just buy a new speaker.
What to do if your ECOXGEAR Speaker won’t turn on
If your speaker appears not to be turning on, it is quite likely there is an internal fault. However, there are a couple of things to try before you decide that it’s done.
- Try leaving the speaker to fully recharge in case it was completely flat.
- Reset your Bluetooth connection between the device and the speaker. Try to pair the speaker again if it allows.
- Disconnect the speaker’s battery and reconnect it again. That is, if you have a speaker, which has a replaceable battery.
- If none of these fix the speaker, and it still will not turn on, then contact ECOXGEAR customer service for further help.
